Santhekatte B Wado joyfully celebrated the feast of its patron, St. Antony, with great devotion and fellowship this year. The celebration began on 15th June with a solemn Mass offered at the cathedral, where all the ward members came together to thank God for the blessings received through the intercession of St. Antony. After the spiritual celebration, it was decided that the patron’s day and the annual get-together would be marked in a more memorable way by organizing a picnic.
Keeping this in mind, a one-day picnic was planned to Hidden Heaven Resort in Neelavar on 2nd November 2025. A total of 58 ward members enthusiastically joined the trip. The journey itself was filled with joy, conversations, and laughter as everyone looked forward to a day of relaxation and fun.
On reaching Hidden Heaven, the group spent the entire day enjoying the beautiful surroundings, fresh air, and peaceful atmosphere. Many actively took part in water sports, swimming, and games, while others relaxed, chatted, and strengthened their bonds of friendship. Delicious food, music, and light-hearted moments added to the happiness. The picnic truly brought the ward members closer as one community, making the patron’s celebration meaningful and memorable for everyone.
