The celebration began with the recitation of the Holy Rosary, led by Mr. Prinston Fernandes, Vice President of ICYM. This prayerful start set the tone for the evening, which was followed by a stage program attended by several dignitaries and well-wishers.

The event was graced by the presence of Fr. Pradeep Cardoza, Assistant Parish Priest and Assistant Director of ICYM, Mr. Melwyn Sequeira, Vice President of the Parish Pastoral Council, Mrs. Eugiene Rebello, Secretary of the Parish Pastoral Council, and Mrs. Prema Lewis, Coordinator of the Twenty Pastoral Commissions. Also present were the ICYM animators Mr. Godfrey Lewis and Mrs. Ann Monis, Sr. Shanthi Pramila, Headmistress of Milagres English Medium School, and Sr. Anitha Dsouza, Headmistress of Milagres Kannada Medium High School. The ICYM President, Ms. Aaniya Menezes, also participated in the celebration, further encouraging the youth to engage in active participation.

The program was beautifully compered by Ms. Sweedel Lobo. Ms. Aaniya Menezes welcomed the gathering with warmth, and later, Ms. Janice Dsouza proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all who had contributed to the event’s success.

The highlight of the celebration was the fellowship meal, Kutma Jevan, where the youth shared traditional dishes lovingly prepared in their homes. This meal was not just about food, but about building a spirit of unity and togetherness within the ICYM family. It reflected the rich cultural tradition of celebrating the Nativity with gratitude and joy, while also strengthening the bonds of friendship among the youth.

The evening concluded on a note of happiness and fellowship, leaving everyone with cherished memories of faith, tradition, and togetherness that truly captured the spirit of the Nativity celebration.
