The Parish community joyfully celebrated the Feast of the Nativity of Mother Mary on 8/09/2025 in front of the Tri-Centenary Hall. The celebration began at 8.00 am with the warm welcome of parishioners, followed by the blessing of crops by Fr. Msgr. Ferdinand Gonsalves. A thurible was offered to the statue of Infant Mary, after which the children lovingly showered flowers in honor of Our Blessed Mother.
Following this, all parishioners proceeded in procession to the church for the solemn Holy Mass celebration. The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Fr. Pradeep Cardoza, with the liturgy beautifully conducted by the girls of the parish in honor of Girls’ Day. The Gospel was proclaimed by Fr. Msgr. Ferdinand Gonsalves, and the homily was delivered by Assistant Parish Priest Fr. Pradeep Cardoza, who shared spiritual insights on the feast.
During the Mass, many faithful offered their offerings with devotion. After the Holy Communion, the blessed crops were reverently distributed among the parishioners, symbolizing gratitude and blessings for the harvest. Scholarships were also awarded to students who excelled in SSLC and PUC examinations, encouraging them to pursue higher goals with faith and dedication.
The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets to the children and parishioners, spreading joy and fellowship among the gathered faithful. The feast was a beautiful expression of faith, unity, and devotion to Mother Mary.
