Dual celebrations at Milagres English Schools

Kallianpur : Milagres English Medium Schools celebrated the Titular feast of Our Lady of Miracles & Vanamotshava here on Monday, 8th July, 2013. The Kindergarten School kids celebrated both the occasion at Kindergarten campus in the morning. This celebrations was the first celebration in their life which small angels were in mood to sing, dance unitedly.


In the after noon Milagres Primary & High School children gathered at Milagres Tri-centenary Hall to celebrate Titular Feast of Our Lady of Miracles and Vanamotsava. Brijesh Vinay Kumar, Range Forest Officer at Byndoor was the chief guest. Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo, Correspondant of the Milagres Institutions was presided the occasion. Rev Fr. Mahesh D’Souza Headmaster of Milagres English School, Leslie Lewis Acting Vice President of Milagres Parish Pastoral Parished, Rev Fr. Ferdinand Gonsalves Principal of Milagres PU College and Veera D’Silva Headmistress in charge of Milagres Primary Section were present on the dais.

Nelson D’Souza teacher to introduced the chief guest of the occasion. Brijesh Vinay Kumar with the Correspondant Fr. Stany Lobo and Headmaster Rev Fr. Mahesh D’Souza inaugurated the Vanamotshava symolically. Students of 7th Standard conveyed the message of Vanamothsava through their beautiful skit. Sharyl Fernandes spoke few words on the Feast of Our Lady of Miracles.

God has created the earth with plants, birds & human beings etc., So in order to thank God Almighty creator of everything, student friends of 9th standard performed their dance which praises the Lord.

Speaking on the occasion the chief guest Brijesh Vinay Kumar pointed out some of the reasons for the calamities like sunami, floods, rising temperatures of the earth and so on. So, he called upon to love the nature and to try solve the problems of these natural calamities.

Rev Fr. Mahesh D’Souza Head Master spoke during the occasion and Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo did his presidential address to the gatherings.

Ujwala of Standard 7 was welcomed the gathered and Asher Lewis 7th standard proposed vote of thanks. Ancilla Periera of 9th Standard compered the programme beautifully. Both the Primary and High School children were participated the dual occasion.
