Milagres Kindergarten School celebrated Grand Parents Day in special way
Udupi : In honour of Kindergarten Grand Parents Day, Milagres Kindergarten School, Kallianpur near here held their Grand Parents Day on Friday, 9th October, 2015 with fun and love. The program started with beautiful smart dance by Kindergarten kids.
The stage program held with the present of Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo Correspondent of Milagres Institutions along with Felcy Lewis Retired teacher, grand mother and social activist as chief guest, Rev Fr. Mahesh D’Souza Principal and Veera D’Silva Headmistress.
Rev Fr. Mahesh D’Souza gave his keynote address and said that the celebration of Grand Parents Day acknowledge the role of grand parents’ and the special relationship they share with their grand children.
During in her address Mrs. Felcy teacher said that this is wonderful opportunity to honour grand parents on grand parents’ day with the celebration. Grand parents’ are our heritage and are essential who loving members of our families and communities.
Fr. Stany B. Lobo said that Grand Parents Day will encourage children to think about the value of the grand parents’ in their life and encourage them to say thank you and spend time with their grand parents’ on Grand Parents Day.
After the speeches by dignitaries, spot games were conducted for grand parents’ by Vinay Shet and Poornima and prizes were distributed by Fr. Stany B. Lobo.
The kids of the school presented a colourful cultural programme for their grand parents’ during the day. The children paid tribute to their grand parents’ by singing songs, telling stories and dances with beautiful movements. Everyone had a wonderful time during the celebration.
Prior to the programme Pranav Rao welcomed the gatherings with beautifully. Ashley D’Souza and Priyon Periera compered the programme without any hesitation. Sneha Naik delivered vote of thanks without any names missed out. The moments that children shared together everyone on the occasion of Grand parents’ day was wonderful and precious. At the end, Kindergarten kids shared refreshments with their grand parents’ as well as parents and teachers with the note of most successful and day of fun and precious.
