Milagres Pre University College Students Welfare Council Inaugurated

Udupi : The Students Welfare Council of the Milagres Pre University College, Kallianpur inaugurated for the academic year 20115/17 on Tuesday, 7th July, 2015 at Milagres College Silver Jubilee Hall here.

Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo Correspondent of Milagres Educational Institutions presided the occasion. The chief guest of the occasion Dr. Thomas Quadras Principal of Glowinstar Academy Udupi inaugurated with lighting the lamp. During his inaugural address he said that the officials of the students welfare council have to discharge their responsibilities in order to keep their pledge which took during the oath taking ceremony. It is easy to take the oath but task that particular role difficult to discharging best of their ability by doing justice in students’ life. Life is greatest and precious which our gift of God. The life stage from 14 years to 24 years which one exploring their life. 

Prior to the inauguration, the Principal of Milagres Pre University College Rev Fr. Ferdinend Gonsalves took oath from President elect Vinora Mishelle Sequeira  as well as Justin Erol D’Silva as Vice President, Vinutha Priya Rego as Secretary and Ryab Xavier D’Souza as Joint Secretary. SWC President Vinora Mishelle Sequiera then took oath from class representatives as well.

The guest of honour Dr. Nery Cornelio pointed out some the responsibilities of students’ welfare council for the benefit of students with the intention of their successful student life in the college. Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo blessed the occasion and addressed his presiding address.

Mrs. Saoudamini Rao and Ms. Snusha D’Souza Directers’ of Students Welfare Council were present on the dais.

The program started with invocation prayer song by the students. Vinora Mishcelle Sequeira welcomed the gatherings. Justin Erol D’Silva gave introduction of the Chief Guest Dr. Thomas Quadras. Vinutha Priya Rego delivered vote of thanks. Manisha Benny of IInd PUSc. compered the programme beautifully.
