milagres Cathedral, Kallianpur celebrates Vespers on the eve of Annual Day


Udupi : Milagres Cathedral of Udupi Diocese, Kallianpur near here celebrated Vespers’ Besp on Tuesday, 20th January, 2015. In the morning of the Vespers Day of Tuesday, Cheryl handing over ceremony held with the brief prayers and Cheryl handed over for Pirjent of the Annual Feast Rohit Lewis and Rita Lewis of Thonse Ward of the church.

In the evening at the entrance gate of the church campus, the Pirjent were received by Vicar of the Cathedral Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo and processed towards the church with brass band. The evening prayers started with rosary and short prayers and then procession held prior to the vespers prayers.

The evening Vespers’ prayer led by Rev Fr. Sunil Viegas Parish priest of Tallur Church, Kundapur along with large priests of deanery except Brahmaver church, guests priests, parishioner priests. During in his homily Fr. Sunil Viegas highlighted the word of God in the society and family. We should seek the Lord in all things including family relations and faithful child training. One can be free to bondage of being a dominant wife and husband and enjoy the blessings of being truly submissive family. The children will benefit even more from the peaceful life in the family. He said train up children the way they should go and when they old they will not depart from parents.
