Readers Club of Milagres College organizes talk on Creative Writings

Udupi : Readers’ Club, Department of English, organized talk on creative writings at Audio Vishual Hall of Milagres College Kallianpur near here on Tuesday, 26th August, 2014. Dr. Nery Cornelio, Principal of Milagres College presided the occasion.

Renita D’Silva, International  well known writer originally Indian and residing in Briton was the resource person. Her books “Monsoon Memories”, “Forgotten Daughter” and “Stolen Girl” were hit in the world market.

During her address she said that great writers’ like William Shakespeare not so educated persons. Nevertheless, anything can possible in life and can realize the chance to success through writings various novels. One should have the courage to reach the dream. She called the students to have the power of dream and aim high.

Prof. Cyril Mathias HOD of the Department of English, Prof. Hilda Rodrigues of Post Graduate Department  and Seema Lewis of English Department were others who present on the dais. Dr. Nery Cornelio gave his presidential address.  Prof Cyril Mathias also spoke during the occasion and gave gratitude to the concerned participants.


Earlier after the invocation prayer Sr. Leera welcomed the gatherings while Ms. Rashmi proposed vote of thanks. Komal D’Souza compeered the programme beautifully  and exceptionally superb.
